Wheel offset

Compare your current wheel and tire with a new setup. See how close it gets to the fender and suspension and how far it sticks out.

Offset and backspacing

Offset is the distance in millimetres from the wheel’s centreline to its mounting face. Positive offset tucks the wheel in; negative offset pushes it out. Backspacing is the distance in inches from the mounting face to the inner lip. Because a wheel measures about 1 in wider than its nominal width, an 8 in wheel with zero offset has 4.5 in of backspacing.
